The brief
Tobar Mhuire is a much-loved period building and community retreat centre. Protecting a heritage property of this kind brings a particular challenge — the systems have to safeguard guests and the building fully, while being installed sensitively so they never detract from the character of the space.
GDC were asked to deliver effective fire and security protection that works quietly in the background of a historic setting.
